Camp Widow™ Marks its Eighth Year

Congratulations to our client Soaring Spirits International on the success of its Camp Widow™ program, which marked its eighth year in 2016. This weekend long program is aimed at providing the widowed community with a place to gather, to collect relevant resources, and to engage with other widowed people in an uplifting and positive environment that fosters growth, and hope.

Camp Widow™ is the only such program of its kind in the U.S. and the world; and it covers every aspect of widowhood – newly widowed, widowed with children, widowed not legally married, LGBT widowed, new partners of widows, survivors of suicide loss, widowed by sudden loss, widowed by long term illness and parents of widowed children.

Three Camp Widows™ are held each year in San Diego, CA, Tampa, FL and Toronto Canada.
